Buddha Park

Ralang Monastery or Ralong Palchen Choling is the buddhist Monastery just over 6Km from Ravangla. There is a new and an old Monastery which are 3Km apart. The path to the old Monastery is a trek route. Ralang Monastery hosts annual festival, known as Pang Lhabsol when Mount Kangchenjunga is worshipped. It’s among the best tourist places in Ravangla.

Doling Gompa - A hiking Trail

Doling Gompa is on a raised platform and can be reached only after a short hike from the Barfung retreat. It is a relatively short walk through around 500 steps into a steep hill surrounded by numerous prayer flags. The steps are quite uniformly negotiated with the gradient so that it won't pain our legs. For adventure lovers, this route is suggested. Do not try with kids, elders or people with knee problems. This place also has a small stream flowing nearby.

Rolong Hot Springs

Ralong Hot Springs is not only popular with locals but visitors from all over the region. These natural steaming saunas are said to have curative powers. The spring is located at a distance of 7 km Borang Village. The Ralong Springs can be reached after an hour long walk from Ralong monastery. The area is also an ideal spot for butterfly and bird watchers.
